Kaiting Chan（詹凱婷／センカイテイ）は、陶芸を中心に制作を行う作家です。

Kaiting Chan（詹凱婷／センカイテイ）は、土と糸を用い、「巻く」という行為を通して制作している。

作品は、「巻く」という行為から始まる。巻くことで素材は変化の状態に入り、乾燥や焼成の過程の中でその変化が続いていく。窯の中では移動や変容が起こり、その結果として紋様が現れる。作品は、行為と素材の相互作用の中で形づくられている。

The work begins with the act of wrapping.
Through wrapping, the material enters a state that continues to change during drying and firing.
In the kiln, movement and transformation occur, and patterns appear as a result of this process.
